Joey's School, Canterbury Elementary grades K-2 put on their Winter Concert. We went to see them sing at their evening performance.

Here is a group picture of the kids in Joey's Kindergarten class who showed up for the Evening performance. They also had one during the day time for the other students in grades 3, 4 & 5.
Here is a video clip of the 2 songs they sang. I tried to get a lot of just Joey, but the other kids were just as cute as he was. (Well almost as cute!) Check out Joey's wink and wave at around 1:12. He's so cute! He was so excited to be preforming, and did an excellent job of learning all the songs and "dance moves". He paid attention to his music teacher Ms. Smoker, and followed her lead the whole time. We are so proud of him!
On another exciting note about Joey, he was tested along with all of the other Kindergartners for their "Gifted Potential" program, and got 3 of the highest marks out of 4! His teacher, Ms. Finnemore will instruct him along with 8 of the others that also made it in. He is one of the 9 out of 50+ students they tested! He will start on Wednesday the 1hr. after school program this coming week. It will continue every other week until school ends for the Summer. Way to go Joey! We've always known you were a smarty pants :) Now you just need to put that smartness to good use. We love you!
