Lola's update for April

Lola started her 1st day at her Toddler Program, this past week. She will now go there 2 days a week, where they have PT, OT, and Speech all in the classroom each week. Instead of twice a month like it has been. She did great her first and second days. It was Mommy that had a hard time! I tried to take her 1st day of School pic. But Daxie, like he always does, tried to get in on the shots. As you can see, Lola is already learning to hold her own!

"Get away Dax!"

Lola loves to look at herself in the mirror when she's standing up. She loves to check out and play with her shoes. She also loves to kick things like her highchair and the floor!

Here is her video for April! She's a push walker machine! She still falls down with it, but gets right back up every time. She is determined to master it!

Eggshell Land

~EGGSHELL LAND~
Eggshell Land is a local tradition in Cleveland. We found out about it from a friend of mommies who was born an raised in the Cleveland area.

This place is so amazing. They (the mom and pop of the clan) design a new theme each year and basically plan the entire year on how to execute and put together each new creation. Not to mention painting all of the enamel covered eggs! If you live out here, you have to see it next year!

What? Mom, you only want us to get six? I want them ALL!!
They also sell fun little things like fridge magnets, key chains, and some quite old and dusty looking post cards. We went for a half dozen enamel eggs.

If you can click on the story of this car, you just might cry. It is such a sweet story. This guy sure loves his wife. I loved the car!! The boys just wanted to ride in the car!

Rock Band guitar solos!

Play these video clips when you have some time to laugh really hard! They are pretty long, but well worth the time. Sorry for my commentary :) I'll post ones of them singing karaoke with the game. They are even more funny! But these take hours to download, so it may be awhile. Until then, enjoy!

Dax does his guitar solo.

Here's Joey with his!

Niagara Falls, Canada! Spring Break 2009

Niagara Falls was so BEAUTIFUL! JJ, Joey, and Dax all had different weeks off for Spring Break! Go figure. So, we decided to let Joey miss a day or two, and head up north to spend the weekend in the wondrous city of Niagara Falls, Canada. It was the 1st time out of the country for all of the kids :) Yay for the kids! And the 1st time to Canada for Daddy. Mom has been to Canada in the past. It was nice to finally go somewhere out of the Country where JJ had never been before!! Except I have to confess, I was only 6 :) and don't even remember! I just have my families stories, and my souvenir of a pink plastic wallet with the logo of Expo '86 The Worlds Fair. But all the same, there is something exciting going to another Country. Even if it was only a few hours North East of us. We did stop at customs, and flash our long ago obtained passports, and birth certificates! The ask you questions about where your from and where your going. I'm sure to slip you up and make you nervous. Each time we passed through, we got an odd question. "You have 3 kids? Are they all yours?" Well yeah! We are Mormons.

We are now entering Canada!

Here we are in the tunnel under the Falls. And with our balloons in front of the Falls.

It was a fun time to go. The mist of the Falls left a thick coat of ice on all of the rocks and trees and grass. The boys found this very fascinating.

Isn't Daxie the cutest little cheese ball?!?! Ok, Goat cheese ball.

The boys made it clear how much they wanted to go see the Butterfly Conservatory. But, as soon as we walked in and all the Butterflies were flying all around us, they soon regretted it! It was so odd to see Joey so afraid! Lol! Well, maybe not so odd. But we paid for it, so we were going to see it! Much to all our surprise they had many of our favorites, the Blue Morpho, and the Monarch Butterflies. So many of them found it fun to perch on top of Lola's head!

Then we hit the WAY to expensive "Skylon Tower". For a ride up the elevator, an awesome view, and some very expensive food!

We got a bit nervous on the ride going up.

But once we were up in the revolving restaurant, we had such a wonderful view!

Even a great view of our next destination, The Sky Wheel.

Nice view from the Sky Wheel!

Before we left, we had lots of fun with all the different shops and "Museums" up and down the streets just next to the falls.

Last but not least, we stopped off at the Original Home of the Buffalo Wings. In Buffalo, NY.

Dental Formal 2009, The Terrace at Progressive Field

The Terrace at Progressive Field, formally know as Jacob's Field. Was where the Dental Formal Dinner and Dance was held this year. It was so Beautiful! And so was Diane!!!

Joey get's a check-up too!

Joey did well at the new Dentist too! Also no cavities!

Lola's video update for March.

Here are Lola's video updates for March. She has improved so much since these were even taken! They are a bit long, but she ends up standing, crawling on all 4's and going up the stairs! She is non-stop now. She is always on the go :) Some exciting news- Lola finally got into the toddler program at a school we have been on the waiting list for a while now. She will go 2 days a week (in a row for consistency) from 10-4. Six hours is quite a long time for Mom to handle! But I will be able to come and go as I please, even stay the whole day. I'm sure I'll do that for the first while. We are hoping that this will be the big step that she needs to take off even further with her development. We visited the school and played a few times there, and she loves it there :)

Silly picture, after bath fun!

Dax goes to the Dentist!

It was time for Daxie to get his first X-Ray's and cleaning with the "tickle brush" as the boys have come to know it.

Boy, was Dax bouncing off the walls with excitement. To my dismay, he even grabbed the water/air tool, and sprayed across the room before I could stop him :) Luckily I am blessed with children who love the Dentist. Maybe that's because they have lived around Papa's office, and now the Dental Clinic which we call "Daddy's School". Soon enough Daddy will be our very own live-in Dentist!

I let Dax get a drink from the vending machines if he let the Dentist take "special pictures" aka X-rays. And he did! He also did well with the fluoride treatment for a mouth his size, it's quite narrow. And the outcome you ask? NO CAVITIES! Thanks Student Dr. Grant!
