Little Lola Lucille is still petite. She also is now in the Help Me Grow program through Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Through her different evaluations, the Doctors have determined that she will benefit from a bit of Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. She has PT weekly and OT bi-weekly. All of this was discussed with mom at her 12 month Well Child Check-Up. She just wasn't growing as fast as Dr. Borus would have hoped. She wasn't on the growth charts (below the charts) for 3 consecutive appointments, and he and mom decided to better start now on some catching up while it would still be fairly easy. Anyhow, to make a bunch of Doctor and PT gobbully goo short.... she is Hyper flexible in her trunk (really flexible with low muscle tone), drags the left side when she crawls (because of being more flexible and stronger on her right) and has a few sensory issues (likes to bump her head on the floor when tired). But all is well, and has been all along, we just want the best start possible for our little Diva!
