This trip to the huge zoo we have in Cleveland, was mom and Lola's first. Joey and Dax have been 3 times before. Dax was so fascinated with the lions, they were his favorite. BUT he was mortified of them! He just sat there staring and actually shaking! All he did was talk about and act like a lion for days after. That's Lola under the floral hat. Apparently she spent quite sometime under it, but still enjoyed the outing with mom. Even if her eyes were covered!
This was the Australian Outback area of the zoo. We spent most of our time there. Joey, Lola, and I are talking to each other, and listening with our "kangaroo ears". We went to the zoo this time with mommy's friend Rachel (behind Joey) and her cute daughter Evelyn.
Dax loved the noise coming out of the instrument this man was playing. He also loved the serpent tunnel he and Joey played in.
Joey thought this elephant was to play on. And then Joey spotted another Joey!
Here's us up on the suspension bridge that lead to the tree house with the giant slide. We are up there in the tree I promise right in the center of the picture. At the top of the tree house was a slide that twisted around to the bottom. Joey was the only one tall enough, and brave enough to slide down it!
