Christmas Morning (Early!)

So we told the boys not to come out of their rooms until 7am. We should have said 9. Mom and Dad were exhausted (as I am sure Santa was also). But the boys and eventually Lola were full of energy. At least until noon or so. And so the shredding began.

Lola got a "ride" on her new pony. How many little girls ask for a pony and really end up getting one? Well OK, she didn't technically ASK for one, but we're sure she had to have one. Dax loved his 4X4 from Grandma and Papa, but was bummed out for a bit while it charged up.

Joey by far loved getting Rock Band for the PS3. So nice of daddy to let him "play". We call our band of 4 "Mercy Kill". Don't ask who named it. Daddy and Joey rock out on guitar, and Dax on drums. Of course the one with the least musical talent, mom, on mic. Lola is our biggest fan.

Every Christmas morning it is our tradition to have waffles with tons of yummy and sometimes silly (sprinkles and syrup?) toppings. Only mommy opts to have the ice cream on the side.

See Daddy's giant waffle and ice cream sandwich? And Dax with his waffle, sorbet, and sprinkles.

Soon enough the boys figured out the easiest way to eat it! And for Daxie, the funnest!
